Shade Plants

There are many native plants that do well in full sun or part sun, but a number of natives can be found that do really well in shade and are still not very common in home gardens. All of these plants offer either beautiful flowers, pollinator magic, and/or fantastic seed heads (e.g. Gray's Sedge). They range in height from two or three feet for Golden Alexander and Gray's Sedge to seven feet for Sweet Joe Pye and can handle a range of soil moistures depending on the species.
